I haven't followed, but this seems to confirm again that with enough money, it's hard to prove a crime beyond a reasonable doubt.

I did not follow that case that closely, but did he not remove his weapon during the stop? But supposedly this woman continued to see him several times, so between that and the many years that passed it's hardly a slam-dunk.
