Anyone use any sort of home surveillance? I've been looking into Nest, Arlo, Ring, etc and all seem pretty good. I'm currently leaning towards the Ring ecosystem but wanted to see if anyone had any other recommendations.

I do not, but I'm curious to hear what anyone has to say. I live out in the country and my neighbors aren't super close. I've considered getting some cameras and a dvr for when we're not home.

i have the Nest (three camera 2 inside, 1 outside) i set up myself. I get notification when there is sound or movement sent to on my cell phone, plus i can go to my cell view the room locationand scan when i want. i would suggest get one camera first to see if you like it ... ... Additional defense : 14 year old Golden poor vision, can't hear, very slow, no bark anymore. Could be dead by morning any morning matter of time.
3 year old Goldendoodle never sleeps, great hearing, vision and big bark... Look like a lamb ..ouch
I have a alarm bell .... Make a hell of loud ring outside
Three rooms have a weapon hidden in it, for quick retrieval

I'm sure you are a common target, all those punks graduating from MU.

I ended up ordering a kit that had a Ring doorbell, a wireless camera, and a solar panel for the camera.

Any customer reviews on those systems about the possibility of someone hacking into them?
