Many expected Strasburg to jump past Garaway this year, but they lost to RW earlier. The Lady Tigers appear to be starting to deliver on their promise.
Garaway only has 1 consistent scorer and they just aren't good enough defensively to win the games they have in the past. Clark and Bonifant were enough to do them in. Garaway has to develop some other scorers or there could be a surprising number of losses iin store for them. I nominate the frosh post, Misko. I like the way the young lady plays.
Hiland was down to NCT last night 12-3 to start the game, but then normal order returned to the universe. NCT has some nice size and they play hard. I was most impressed with their coach. He had scouted Hiland - something we don't often see in conference. He knew where we were going with the ball and was trying to get their zone to react to it. Looks like NCT has the beginnings of a program.

yea me, either. I was one of the biggest proponents of them being alone in 2nd place at season's end, but obviously we'll still have to see, there.
