Had to look up where Kirkersville is. It'll be interesting to see what the backstory of this is. Is this guy just a nut shooting up whatever innocent place he can find, or is there another connection?

I was familiar with Kirkersville (name only, never been there) as I grew up in Licking County.

Officer was shot and killed. People at the nursing home knew the shooter. gunman shot himself no news on condition of the shooter or the other people shot.

Sad day here in Licking County. Kirkersville is a very small town in western Licking County right off of I-70. Police force in that town is about 20 officers. Officer shot was the Police Chief.

Really sad. Guy was the police chief, 36 years old, had 6 kids with a 7th on the way. Of course, the coward who opened fire, taking 3 other lives, took his own as well.

My cousin works as a nurse in the area. Took it pretty hard.
Guy is a career criminal. Loser. Went after his girlfriend, or ex-girlfriend.
Terrible.
