FIFA voted to fast track the bidding process for 2026 World Cup. USA/Mexico/Canada already agreed to going in together on a joint bid representing CONCACAF. Of the 80 matches, 10 to the South, 10 to the North, the other 60 with USA. Quarterfinals and on would all be in the USA.
Fast tracking gives other nations only until August to put in bids and begin to prove infrastructure capabilities, etc. for hosting.
I do not see anyway this joint bid doesn't win out over anything else presented, especially given how long it is been for CONCACAF to be awarded the World Cup (1994), stadiums already built, etc.
