I got a Netflix account a few years back and started binge watching television shows. I've found that by watching an entire season of a tv show in a couple of weeks, I have a hard time remembering some elements of the show when the following season airs around year later. Anybody else have this problem or am I just getting old?

Our brains cannot put all that information In the long term memory that quick. The new episode come to quick when binging

I'm not that old, and I have the same problem with the shows I watch normally on a weekly basis. I blame the fact more and more shows seem to be just 10-12 episodes in a season, and can go well over a year between seasons. I think the condensed seasons also take out the "filler" shows we used to get that would refresh our memories and bring us back up to speed.ppaw1999;1844250 wrote:I have a hard time remembering some elements of the show when the following season airs around year later. Although there may also be something to what Spock said. A really engrossing show makes you think about it in the hours and days before the next show, so that probably tends to reinforce and cement a deeper recollection of what happened.
