The internet/OC does provide anonymity however some of us do know others on this OC site.
I for one have made a effort to some here on the OC to meet because I'm not afraid of who I am. Those that I have meet we made friends with ( of my own choosing) are friends of Belly, I honor that friendship.

question:
Are they what you expected in terms of physical appearance?
Are they what some assume they maybe?

i only know four OC ...
Apple .. Younger than I expected, intense of his passion, makes people around him feel good to be a friend. I was expecting a geek type individual weak and meek but not so. He has cool friends a great personality girl friend.

BRF .... Our friendship was in the beginning not so friendly. However BRF is very intelligent, intense golfer, shorter in stature than I expected but physically very strong. We both had similar views that to me was unexpected.

Garden35 ... Lean, tall and for a old guy getting up there in age good share. Interesting individual great football knowledge and easy going guy. He could be anyone favorite uncle. I could be neighbors with G35

Redrocket... Hillbilly, Democrat, never answers his phone, smoker, eats liver and lives in the woods. What not to like about this guy. Big guy at the time, in the hospital, unshaven hillbilly but great sense of a humor, hard working businessman owner with a bigger heart for his friends and family. Dedicated to his work and living big.

The 3 people I know on here I've known for years, so it's not applicable to your questions.

On here? Nobody that I know of.

I probably knew 10 or so folks on the JJHuddle site, mostly because of us living in or having lived in the Hamilton Local school district. and were all on the alumni website there.

People on there that I met by happenstance and shared identities with have been Licking County Fan and Mr. TrackMski, but I don't know if they frequent this site.

I know lots of Huddlers and OCers. Mantooth is my best friend and was a groomsman in my wedding.

I haven't picked up a club in two years.

I'm 5' 11 3/4".

As Belly said, we know each other. He is a great guy who I am proud to say is a friend. He's very entertaining/funny and time goes by too quick when he is around. He'd give you the shirt off his back and he will give you honest advice. He's been a big help to me.

...4cards, another stand-up guy and fun to have a beer with and go to a football game. All those Mooney guys from JJhuddle are fun to hang with.

Devil's Advocate- have known him for years even prior to the Huddle. Great friend! Haven't seen him in years but hope the next time I do he finally pays off the 12-pack he has owed me for much of this century!

I've met a bunch of chatterers over the years, most of them were major disappointments (just kidding).

Literally bumped into Sherm at a bar as I was arriving and he was leaving. We didn't realize who each other was at that time.
