Sucks ass today. Power lines down in my yard and driveway. Had to do some maneuvering just to move my car. Fuck if I know when I'll have electricity. Only saving grace is I'm going to be on the road most of the time for the next few days, so it won't affect me much.

Had to have a tree cut down a few days ago from the last wind storm. It was almost dead and I was going to cut it down when it was a little warmer. But instead paid someone 75 to put it on the ground.

Second time in two weeks that the wind's taken out my power. Last week, it was a tree a couple properties over that did it and this week, it was just a pole (that looked pretty rotted at its base) on my property that did the trick.

Almost blew a semi off both the 280 and 75 bridge here in Toledo which has lead to both being closed right now. Haha Toledo traffic is gorgeous at the moment

I do weather forecasting for about 20 radio stations from New Jersey to Arizona each weekday - today I had to record the same beginning for 2/3 of them: "High wind warning in effect thru 5 PM today ......"

I worked a middle school track invitational yesterday, conditions were brutal. All six of the visiting schools showed up, and those kids toughed it out. The starter was bundled up so much all I could see of him were his sunglasses.

I remember running track when it was that cold, but not with that wind. Yesterday I was sitting up in the pressbox with the heaters on, and I was still miserable. The head cold I just acquired didn't help.
