Do you mean Obamakare when you say they trashed the greatest health care delivery system the world has ever known? Because health care costs have been out of control since before Obamakare.

Gee, let's see; health care costs have been rising for 20 years, at a faster pace than inflation. Then obamaKare is forced upon The People by socialists and labeled the AFFORDABLE Care Act. The result is health insurance skyrockets at rates 4 and 5 times the previous rate hikes. And, deductibles and co-pays increase 5 and 10 fold. People are FORCED to buy insurance that they don't need, cannot afford, and definitely cannot afford to use. It is without question the largest legislative and administrative disaster in the history of the republic. And the damage it is inflicting on the economy, not to mention people's lives, is horrific.


It is indefensible.

He doesn't acknowledge that healthcare costs (premiums plus out of pocket) have been hurdling upwards long before Obamacare. Providing people with at least a shot at insurance when they don't have an employer sponsored plan is not something he's a fan of either. I guess he would like for us to continue to pay for people to use emergency rooms as primary care providers - aka the best healthcare delivery system the world has ever known.

Also, he uses the terms The People and The Republic, so I guess he loves the country more than those of us who don't.

People could always make decisions that would enable to them obtain insurance. Now, however, people are FORCED to buy insurance that they cannot afford.

"10 times worse"? There are people who have insurance because of Obamacare that wouldn't have it otherwise. Is it a perfect system? Of course not. It is world's better than what has been allowed to accumulate over the past 30-40 years under both Republicans and Democrats. At least Obama took some action. As is stands now, Obamacare needs some more work. But not a damn thing was ever going to happen until someone actually did something. Obama did that.

And yet every single stakeholder in the health care industry...nurses, doctors, hospitals good conservative business men like Toby Cosgrove, not to mention the public which now prefers to keep Obama care...was against repealing it.

And of course, the GOP could not come up with a plan to repeal it after a decade.

And you can bet that ***** Josh Mandel would've folded too the second the Cleveland Clinic came knocking on the door.

But hey, you can always challenge Bill Johnson in a primary. But I am,sure it is easier to remain the man outside of the arena who spends his whole life bitching.

Good try BoatShoes. But I tried a chart like that with Quaker a year or so ago and he didn't want to address it. I'm just preparing you for his likely response - not acknowledging facts.

Please provide a list of the healthcare stakeholders who preferred the Republican proposals to repeal and replace Obama care vs. Keeping Obama care.

To my recollection Anthem was the only insurance company who supported the earlier version that McCain tanked.
