Cavs shouldnt have a problem in this one.

Side note: I really hope that some of these Antawn Jamison rumors are true, I think he would be a perfect fit with the Cavs.

powe is on the roster, nobody has to get the ax. jackson and williams will probably both not dress once powe comes back though.

No one. Powe counts on the roster.

Cleveland only moved Karl to keep an open roster spot so they could possibly take on another player in a lopsided trade if the opportunity came.

what a start to open the 2nd.

that extra roster spot probably wouldn't be for a lopsided trade as i doubt they would be getting more players than they give. more likely it would be used for a 1-1 trade using Z and getting him back with a buyout.

Jawad "Lil Goat" Williams with an astounding 5 points in 13 minutes at half.

Well that is what Windy said it would be for and he is pretty good about the Cavs.

Also, it wouldn't be a 1-1 imo. JJ Hickson will be involved somewhere along the line in the trade which could throw in another player from the other team (or 3 way). That would bring 2 players back, sending out 1 (JJ), and then getting Z back. Perfect scenario for holding the extra spot.

well that would be a 2-2, but i see what you were tryin to say. It's got to be equal so they can get Z back, which is why i said 1-1, not lopsided.

It would be lopsided in true form if you count Z coming back.

We would be giving up JJ for two players with Z coming back after 30 days.

It'd be nice to swing a deal for Jamison even if it involves Boobie and Z. This guy can flat out shoot the rock.

Cavs are linked to Jamison but they were also linked to Amar'e last season and that didn't turn out.

It's highly unlikely the Wizards, or anyone will want Boobie with his contract.

Washington may do Z for Jamison, their salaries are equal. I don't see Jamison being a good fit for the Cavs though past this year. They have all that money tied up in Andy, and to add 13-15mil for each of the next 2 years for Jamison would really handcuff the team. I'd take my chances with JJ and work on getting a real center for next season rather than another forward.

You're probably right about the Boobie contract. As far as large contracts go, Ferry was given the green light to spend whatever money he needs to spend to make championship happen. It could be a now or never deal for them to make it happen this year?? The summer of '10 is around the corner.

I think Ferry should send JJ and Z to the Wiz for Jamison. Its pretty obvious that the Wizards are at the point where they are looking to cut salary, Ferry should send the players I mentioned as well as some money towards Z's buyout. I realize that Jamisons contract might handcuff the Cavs a bit but I dont think they can afford to go into the postseason with JJ starting at PF. I'd rather worry about making the team better and winning this year then hoping to sign a bigman next year. Jamison starting at the 4 puts this team over the hump in my opinion.

Nice win, Darnell Jackson with 1 rebound in 4 minutes tonight for the winners.
