Why do people use it? If I need to be up at 6:30, I set my alarm for 6:30. I don't set it for 5:45 so I can get 45 minutes of shitty sleep that is interrupted by an alarm every few minutes.

I don't think I've ever hit the snooze 5 times. Congrats on getting up on your first attempt though.

Same. If I need to be up at 6:00, I might set one for 5:50 and if I get up and give myself an extra ten minutes to dick around with then cool.

Yeah I get that. I have an acquaintance who sets like seven alarms starting an hour and fifteen minutes before they actually get up. That's what I find super weird.

I can't have a snooze button. I hate getting up and I will push it forever. I removed mine.

I've been woken up by my alarm maybe once or twice this past month. Normally I wake up about 30 minutes before my alarm goes off.

My wife set the alarm for her wake up time 6/6:30.. I wake up between 4:30 and 5:00 no matter what the dog does the same and wakes me up sometimes. There has been a few time when I sick that I over sleep to 6:30 /7:00.

i take power naps two or three times per day for 15 /30 minutes and wake myself up. i can just wake myself up without an alarm.

I very rarely even set an alarm. I guess that's what happens when you get old-I just seem to get up when I need to without an alarm.

Yeah, ...me too.
one of the sucky things that happen when you get older, is that you can't sleep in like you used to.

I never use snooze. My alarm is set for 5:01 and I get up. My daily routine is set up where I don't have time to keep hitting snooze. For the most part, I feel if you push thru the first 20-30 minutes of waking up early it's not that bad. I would say the worst is when you wake up about 5-10 minutes before the alarm is supposed to go off. At that point there is no point in going back to sleep.

On the weekends my alarm is turned off.

I use the snooze button a lot. I would like to stop doing it and just get up when the alarm goes off but our bed is really comfortable.

In high school after morning weightlifting season would end up I would set the alarm for 5 AM just so I could wake up, relish not having to go, and fall back asleep.

I don't have a snooze, but I set 3 alarms 15 minutes apart. I use the extra alarms maybe 1x per week. It's a safety precaution more than anything. Alarms set for 5:15, 5:30, 5:45. I'll usually wake up about 5:20 and shut the other 3 off.

I don't snooze. I get up at 5:58 and leave for work at 6:25. On weekends I sleep in pretty good.

I don't snooze, just get up. I've found ppl that hit the snooze button a lot also tend to be late a lot.
