Cincinnati got hammered pretty bad. The storm woke us up around 1:30am and was loud enough that I couldn't get back to sleep until around 2:30. Then we got slammed again around 7am with high winds and hail. The storm is pretty much over at this point but the rain is still coming down and flooding is a concern.

I slept through the entire thing. I woke up at 6 because my group chat was going cray, but then I fell back asleep at 6:30. From the looks of my yard, it was pretty windy, and it's raining right now.

Bad enough that it woke up my 6 month old, then my 3 year old...and then my wife and I in that order. So, that was a fun night.

Didn't get a thing in my part of Kansas. Kansas City area got rain and lightning. That storm cell was the one with all the tornadoes that hit Illinois.

We had a tornado go through our area this summer (link below), and we were under a warning last night from 2:15 - 3:00. We moved the kids to the basement during that time, and my sleep sucked balls after that. Just a lot of rain and some heavy thunder/lightning. Not sure if a tornado touched down or not.

I slept through it. Looks like a good bit of rain and it's been windy for a while, but haven't seen any actual damage (but haven't driven far enough to see that much of the area, either).

Buses all were very late, several nearby schools closed due to flooding. A former teacher at our school had the roofs blow off of each of heir dairy barns....about 1 1/2 mile from where I'm at.

I live in downtown Chicago so just lightning for us, which was sweet to watch from my high rise. Started around 6pm and didn't stop until after midnight.

Luckily I never have to worry about tornadoes but yeah I guess there were 2-3 of them within 60 miles of Chicago.

Largely slept through the first line overnight, heard it thunder but I fell right back asleep.

My commute to work (6-7AM) was between lines, so that wasn't bad. There were tornado warnings a county to the north of me until 630AM, but it largely crapped out after that.

Wind is having an effect around my parts now. Heard that a tree got taken down close enough to knock out the power. Looks like when I get home, my job will be to sit in the dark, play on the computer while its battery is working and drink everything in sight. Yay!

That's right down the street from my old office. I was about 30 miles south of Cincinnati last night but it was awful. Woke up around 7am because it sounded like a tornado had to be close by. By far the loudest I've ever heard wind outside.
