What age would you want to be durning that period of time?

Probably right after or a little before WWII victory. It would be cool to live in a time where the nation was united and had a lot of pride.

1950-55, primarily to experience stereotypical nightclub song-n-dance shows, and to see the heyday of train travel.

I rode the train once, from Columbus to Chicago with my father in 1962. We rode overnight sitting in the regular seats, then met my mother coming in from a training classes, and took the next overnight back to Columbus in a sleeper car with our own room and bathroom. Seeing "White Christmas" always makes me think of that trip.

And also to see Brooklyn win the World Series in 1955. I've heard stories about what some of the fans did after they stormed the field, always wanted to have been there to see if they were true.

present is better than the past, but to play along:

66-71 - music (woodstock, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Beatles)
57-62 - politics & lifestyle (Ike & JFK)
92-97 - sports ('92 olympics to '97 tribe)
Now - technology

1950's

I love the movie Back to the Future (as my signature suggests) because of the atmosphere of the movie.

Purely selfish.

Early 70's.

I was in/graduating from high school. Wish I had chosen a career to go in differently. Music was awesome. Met my wife during that period-that was a good decision but wish I had some time to do my own thing longer. (Married too soon)
