Recent brag and derp

Brag.... my 126 lb daughter dead lifted 225 lb and was 2nd in a push and pull contest at her college (lost by .1)

My son's 7th grade basketball team is 13-0

DERP... I forgot to turn back and watch the finish of Nova/UVA game and instead watched paint dry in MSU/UM game

Went to hardware store to get two outlet covers for our playroom and came home with two outlet covers that won't screw in because I forgot to look to see what I needed to work. Irritating.

1. Nephew was invited to a baseball showcase and did well. 2. Packet got selected for a promotion derps 1. Went to th alamo and did not find pee wees bike 2. Took the time to answer this thread.

Brag: Got assigned my first varsity wrestling meet as an official. Big step, and normally most guys don't get "called up" until their 4th year.

Derp: very first varsity match I officiate goes to OT and I made a pretty questionable call [emoji15]. The losing coach was not thrilled. I am still not sure I made the right call.

The rest of the day went well, but that call still bugs me.

Glad it bugs you because fuck those refs that are all smug and never miss a call in their mind.

Brag: Got my Emmy for Super Bowl 50 (actually came a few months ago)

Derp: Turned down an upgrade on last nights redeye cause I was 90% asleep already. Woke up 3 hrs into flight and couldn't get comfortable the last 2.

I do have one BRAG that I was pretty proud of myself this past spring.

At the ripe old age of, well, lets just say more than double the age of most of the guys in the class, I became a paratrooper. It is something many other guys in my unit have tried, and a number failed, to complete so for me to do this at my advanced age made me pretty proud. Although I wont ever reach the pinnacle of my brother's HALO wings, I am ok with that!

Derp: I'm 3 weeks behind on work and have no PTO left until April after the travel.
