This year the wife and I hope to begin down sizing the contents of our home, for the future to move into something we both can manage easy and newer. Anyone looking for a baby grand piano :)

Doing a few home upgrades.... just bought new stove, refrig, dishwasher, micro stainless for the kitchen will do counter tops this year also.

I want to buy a old classic car that I had when I was younger... that could be costly..
i had a lot of cars growing up and to just pick one would be difficult.....but 1964 GTO is what I want

Because of my work, dedication to job, career, family and providing for the needs of everyone else within the family I have set aside some of the things I wanted to do and have. Bucket list...
I have no regrets in doing that it was my obligation as a husband, parent and father.

I told the wife that I was thinking about camping. Note: the wife, daughters, son in laws think camp is a rental cabin on my credit card provided with food, hot tube, beer, electric, cable and outlet stores, restaurants and golf course within 10 miles.
i told her I want to camp in real back wooded areas..... alone

What you goal, plans and agenda for 2017?

What you goal, plans and agenda for 2017?
Yeah, what some call camping really isnt much removed from their own home.
We went a few times this year and since we always waited until the last second it was in the non-electric section, which is fine with me. LIkely go more often this year. Only "luxury" I will want to upgrade is something more comfortable to sleep on other than the ground in a tent.

My goals are mostly just to continue on what I started in late 2015. Post less on the OC, which will likely be the end of this site. 2016 in a way was a "Record Year" for me and now for an encore I plan to work a bit harder. Do have something on the calendar that I have been hoping and working toward for a few years now and I really hope it works out.

Going to get a new garage door and opener, fix window of garage and get a medium size storage shed for backyard.

I will have some free time this year as I resigned my rec league position with the city....probably spells out more golfing. Contemplating doing a summer tutoring program with my son.

Get healthy. This lingering neuropathy in my feet from herniating a disc has just been brutal

Start downsizing in anticipation of moving in 2018. Selling the excess stuff we don't pass along to family should generate enough cash for a new car.

I will be well versed at riding switch on a snowboard by the end of this season. That is a MUST.

Other than that, finding a new job. My ongoing search has me feeling cursed and my current company is fucking me up mentally. I have to make a change. If I don't have something in the next 4-5 months, I may relocate.

I'd also like to go on a trip solely focused on learning to surf. Costa Rica or Puerto Rico.

What's the story on the job? Where would you relocate?

I've had 4 get to right before the offer stage and get pulled for various reasons....backfill, delay hiring, etc. I've also used a decent amount of PTO days for interviews. It's maddening.

I'd go to Denver, but only if I had something lined up prior. My lease is up at the end of March, so its' time to figure it out.

Yeah, 6 years and counting. No where to advance, but too good to just walk away from. It's a shitty situation.

It's been probably four years since I launched a product through my own business. I'm going to do that this year.

That's pretty much it. I rarely wait for the new year to do things.

Getting healthy...after I figure out the back situation on January 18.

Hopefully moving, if I can land a new job. I am not one to regret anything, but I'm starting to kick myself for not taking a job in August that I was frontrunner for -- just couldn't leave my current boss and team two weeks before season.

Get some additional income, somehow/someway. Wife wants to have another kid. We have to make more money in order for that to happen. We are both looking at some online tutor/instructor jobs to possibly gain more income.

Like O-Trap, this isn't because it's 2017, it's been my focus at various times through the last several months (and years).
