Actually just saw video as well. Gunman yelling about Aleppo/Syria. Can only imagine how Russia will react.

Shooter was a police officer apparently. Used his ID to get in.

I do find it odd that nobody else was in the room with a gun to shoot him down immediately. Normally when this type of shit happens, the assailant is taken down immediately. This dude had a full monologue after he assassinated the ambassador.Spock;1829311 wrote:that video was crazy.....not sure how many people were in the room but nobody did anything.

There usually isn't that much security for an ambassador inside his own embassy. The guy who shot him WAS the security guard assigned to protect him.like_that;1829329 wrote:I do find it odd that nobody else was in the room with a gun to shoot him down immediately. Now how this guy got that responsibility is the question that needs to be asked. I'm not sure how we are supposed to stop workplace violence though.

TBH, thought the shooter looked a little like Robby Mook at first.

you have said "workplace violence" multiple times and nobody has taken the bait. You know this guy was radicalized? That means terrorist.sleeper;1829333 wrote:There usually isn't that much security for an ambassador inside his own embassy. The guy who shot him WAS the security guard assigned to protect him.
