I read about this story for the first time today. How in the hell is this guy given a one year suspension from football and not sent to prison? Am I missing something?

Could have just sent him to jail to be served "after the conclusion of the football season".

As for the push to suspend him for the bowl game.....eh. I am not a fan of punishing a person twice for the same thing unless there are new facts that come out. Per usual, the only difference now is that everyone can see the video apparently
