I knew what this was about before I even clicked the thread link.

I'm all too familiar with the destruction caused by opioids and it's sad.

When I was at children's services in Erie County for training local ambulances had administered 6 doses of narcan in one week. that night a 10 month old was there because his dad OD'd at the city park on a slide earlier in the day while "watching" his kid.Sad epidemic .

I cannot imagine where this is leading. I know there are people who recover from opiate addiction. But there are many that do not. I have a close relative battling this and that is very scary to me.

within 5 years of a heroin addiction, 80% of users are either dead or in jail.
