I know it's to early but there is a change in attitude in the small business world.... Just like counting rural America Trump signs can predict the winner many .... All.... Of my customers now have a positive feel of the future of business.
From talking to small business owners, diesel machanic, engineers, production managers and office managers its no longer conversation of ... What can I do now to keep business ..... To..... What can I do to handle new business in 6 to 9 months from now. (I think it will take a year before we see a real upward swing in business)
The last two months have been slow or holding for many business. I see already more movement of heavy equipment in the oil and gas industry, additional maintenance of equipment starting, planned construction projects, business plans for new equipment, renewing of quotes and most important question of where to find skilled, qualified individuals now days......
The talk has change from how do I protect my ass, to the future idea of new business... Simply put
The biggest problem many of my customers face in the future will be finding good skills level, dedicated and reliable employees.

Unfortunately, in my area I Ohio there are still production plants and coal mines closing. in fact, one mine will be shutting next week. perhaps things will change, perhaps not. I am hopeful while still skeptical.

I work closely with Oxford and Rosebud... They are in a downward mood now because of Obama an the last 4 years of administration chocking regulation but for now they are moving equipment to other operation but will be looking to reopen some later.... Many operation will not be forgotten...
