1. That shows a profound lack of empathy. You clearly has never been targeted by such remarks, particularly by the now most powerful man in the world. When your family is in danger of being deported you don't have the luxury of "other" issues and when a major candidate uses your ethnicity as a campaign tool to rule up hate against you to win votes "other" issues are a bit hallow.

2. Trump was incapable of talking policy specifics so the "focus on the issues" bullshit is just that.

No worries. Only reason I looked it up was that I'd heard someone say something similar when Gore lost to Bush 2. It seemed like a realistic idea until I looked it up and realized that the people on the EC itself are determined by the election.

Man, if it happened, there would be a shakeup in the entire election system. The rioting we're seeing now would be a piss in the pond.

One of the first articles I,saw after the election was a liberal journalist complaining that Trump's transition team was mostly white men.

The protesters are yelling chants "racist, sexist not my president", etc.

This is what they really believe IMHO and as a Democrat who believes the government can do things to make people's lives better they are parasites that drive normal people to vote GOP.

There's a lot of truth baked into this post, I think. Particularly that part about driving normal people to vote GOP.

Ultimately, I think this SJW movement's largest effect has been to help the GOP.

But I find it HILARIOUS they made such a big deal out of him not immediately saying he would accept the election results and now they are not accepting the election results. There is a petition trying to get some of the electoral voters (whatever they are called) to change their votes.

I don't mind protests that are peaceful and that have evidence of laws that are enacted to hurt them. Heck, I don't really mind protests against people worshipping cabbage, if that's all that they have to do in a day.

I DO mind when protests turn into disruptive and destructive jackassery, costing innocent people time/money/effort to clean up after them, hurting people who have nothing to do with what somebody elses irrational mind convinces them of, and so on and so on.
All the fearmongering that is gin'd up at this point is baseless as there hasn't been anything done (read as laws) to retract anybody's rights.

Now, if events take place that shows clear proof that there is an active engagement to harm/hinder minorities with laws or repealing rights, then my thoughts will change, most definitely. But in the meantime, stupidass comments won't make me lose any sleep tonight.
