I personally don't think the Cavs are going to win this series (for various reasons) but I do think they have a chance if they do things like you mentioned (with Steph) and get VERY physical (and throw GS off their game) which I'm skeptical will happen.

What's really interesting, dating back to last years finals after game 2, is the cavs actually accelerated the pace of play. You would think that would be a huge mistake against a team like GS, but it actually was very effective in slowing them down and wearing them down towards the end of the game. The thing that gives me a lot of confidence heading into this finals, is the cavs are actually better than GS in offensive efficiency. The one thing I really hope happens is the Cavs come out game 1 wearing the black jerseys. It would be epic

Skeptical that they win, or if they attack Steph and get physical. If it is the latter, why are you skeptical? That is exactly what they did last year to win and to a lesser extent in 2015, where they tried to muck up the series. The Cavs would be idiotic to not try the same, because that is how you beat GSW.

I'm skeptical they will get very physical with them.

Stole this from RCF..

Per Synergy, during the 2017 playoffs, LeBron James has attacked an opposing player off of a switch 121 times (averaging 1.23 points per possession), Kyrie Irving has 89 times (averaging 1.24 points per possession), and Kevin Love has 42 times (averaging 1.07 points per possession)
Golden states defense is based on switching in defense. And we have 3 of the best players in the NBA taking advantage of switches.

I don't understand this. It's exactly what they did the last two years, so why all of a sudden stop now?

I saw that. The poster who posted that is nerdy as fuck, but that's a good find lol. It's also another reason why the Cavs would be idiotic not to attack Steph.

We obviously have different definitions of physical.

He definitely is nerdy but he comes up with awesome in depth numbers. I think we will see a similar game plan that we saw games 3-7 last year. I truly think the cavs have figured out how to play GS. We will find out tomorrow night

They definitely cracked the code last year, but KD is an added element now. I think the Cavs know how to score on them, but defending is another story.

Can Lue find a way to get Frye minutes? When he can play with the 2nd unit + LBJ, they are insanely tough to guard. But, Frye can't play every series because of his limitations on the defensive end. If Lue can figure out how to get him 8-10 minutes a game, that bodes very well for the bench scoring I referenced earlier.

The plan will be the same plan we used last year. Whoever Curry is guarding will screen Lebron and Lebron will force the switch so it will be Lebron vs. Curry 1v1. Lebron will drive, SOMEONE will have to step over to stop the drive and Lebron will make the correct play to kick it out to the open shooter.

I also think the Warriors defensively are much worse off this year than last. AI has lost a step and they don't have Bogut anymore. The difference of Durant vs. Barnes is the key upgrade but there's a reason the Warriors won more games last year than this year and that's because there's only one ball.

I thought the Cavs did a great job last year of being physical as they were coming off screens...a lot of rubs that made Steph and Klay not be able to get to their spot on time or in rhythm.

How many different houses does he have? Akron is still his "residence" isn't it?

Pretty sure he only has houses in Brentwood and Bath. The one in Bath is their primary residence.

I remember thinking that the team that got the most physical with the Warriors was OKC last year, when they went up 3-1 on them.

The shield looks dumb IMO. Also think it is weird to have both black and navy in the official colors. I would prefer all navy.

Their uniforms are consistently among the best in the league, though, so I can't really complain. Keep making the Finals and I won't care what costumes they ever dress in.

I don't like the black/red shield with just the C on it. But the other shield (global) is awesome.

He bought in LA around the same time he left Miami. Which is why the dumb ass media thought there was a chance he was going to be a Laker.
