Know the feeling when you are trying to bring a family to the games. Can be tough. Do the Indians allow you to bring in a small cooler? REds you can bring in a small soft sided cooler and we usually bring some drinks/snacks but still allow everyone to get something as well, and if we make it to the dollar hot dog stand stock up on those!Benny The Jet;1821782 wrote:I would love to go to more games...I just can't justify spending the kind of money to go to Browns/Cavs games, and on a lesser scale...Indians games. I think of the cost of driving, parking, tickets for 4, and food, I think of all of the other things I could better spend my money on for my family. 99% of the time I'd rather stay at home and watch on HD vs. dropping $100 at least for 1 regular season game. Call me cheap...but I feel like there's probably a good amount like me out there.
Yeah, if it was me I would scalp tix there but I wont be able to do so after 9am and it would be left up to them and I would rather have tix in hand for them instead of them trying to find em themselves.TBone14;1821776 wrote:Just go to the Muni lot Sunday morning and pickup a couple off the ground at some point.

It looks like the Tribe has at least a modicum of control of all but Crisp, Napoli and Davis.
Speaking of this... do you raise your kids as fans of the local teams and take them to their games, or as fans of the teams you were raised on and root for.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1821760 wrote:Well we're moving to Denver so unfortunately it won't pick back up anytime soon.
Brantley may very well be playing first base next yearSonofanump;1821807 wrote:If Brantley is healthy, would they try to resign either OF?
WIth all my nieces/nephews it has come down to them gravitating to what the parents follow and watch. WHen they get a little older some start to gravitate to someone else. Luckily I saved 1 nephew from a browns family....he seems to enjoy SUnday's a bit more than the rest of his family.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1821808 wrote:Speaking of this... do you raise your kids as fans of the local teams and take them to their games, or as fans of the teams you were raised on and root for.
lol not even difficult. If you moved to Croatia, you making your kids root for Croatia over USA in the world cup final match? Yeah didn't think so.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1821808 wrote:Speaking of this... do you raise your kids as fans of the local teams and take them to their games, or as fans of the teams you were raised on and root for.
They play baseball in Colorado....ZWICK 4 PREZ;1821760 wrote:Well we're moving to Denver so unfortunately it won't pick back up anytime soon.
Croatia, Denver. Pretty much the same thing huh? Point is I got to go to old Municipal stadium all the time to watch the Browns and Indians play. Just wondering if it's only fair they can go to Coors field and Mile High to watch their team. Obviously I'd still be Cle til i die. Which may or may not make them want to be Cleveland fans too.Commander of Awesome;1821826 wrote:lol not even difficult. Sounds reasonable.HitsRus;1821827 wrote:They play baseball in Colorado........
....and it's in the national League.
No problem rooting for both until they meet in the World Series....Then you root for the Indians, and they get their choice.

Never thought of Brantley playing 1B...wow..but it might make sense.Brantley may very well be playing first base next year
I grew up an AF brat living in many places overseas and domestically. As you already know I am a diehard Cleveland fan. It never crossed my mind once to root for any of the teams in the area we lived in.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1821808 wrote:Speaking of this... do you raise your kids as fans of the local teams and take them to their games, or as fans of the teams you were raised on and root for.
Id never root for any city besides Cleveland anyways. I wouldn't be against letting the kids be Denver fans and taking them to Broncos and Rockies games.Ironman92;1821830 wrote:You are young enough to have missed the Elway eliminating the incredibly loaded Browns teams of the mid 80's....if you witnessed those years you could never root for the Broncos.
Rockies games should be good to watch
My brother and SIL lived in Arizona for the first 4.5 and 2.5 years of my niece and nephew's lives. Now they live in San Diego. His kids are Cleveland fans, period. They love watching games and rooting for their dad's favorite teams with him.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1821833 wrote:Id never root for any city besides Cleveland anyways. I went back to the first series thread to look at all the names because I didn't want to forget anybody.
The first thread was started by the name at the top of the list. Beyond that, the names are in no particular order of importance (just so no one gets butt hurt about not being more toward the top of the list.).![]()

If not Napoli, looking at Steven Pearce/Adam Lind type. They won't be moneying up for Ed Encarnacion.HitsRus;1821831 wrote:Never thought of Brantley playing 1B...wow..but it might make sense.
I thought there would be no way that the Tribe could sign Napoli after the year he had.....but considering he disappeared in Sept/Oct. he might be cheap
I could see the Tribe re-signing Davis who is unlikely to get a multiyear contract. The Tribe doesn't mind doing 1 year deals.
I don't see Coco coming back.
You're welcome.BRF;1821838 wrote:Now that I'm able to relax a little bit now and reflect, I want to thank all our stalwart posters for our Tribe through thick and thin this great season.
