He's getting to 3-1 and 3-2 too much but keeps executing the necessary pitches. I don't believe things will go as good if that continues. 1-0 and 2-1 yes....but deeper is playing too much with fire.

He won't give in with runners on. If he only goes 6...he only goes 6 but he's not going to groove pitches for the sake of throwing strikes.

He attacks with the bases empty but he's not worried about pitching with 2 and 3 balls with runners on.

Never said he should. The good pitchers never give in. I don't expect him to give in but I feel 3-1 and 3-2 counts are going to get him sooner than later if he continues.

2 seamer is off the charts today. He's tough tonight considering his curveball has led to both hits and that's usually his bread and butter.
