11. Marion Franklin
12. South
13. Eastmoor

Glorioso moved on from EA (where I teach) and the school is having difficulties finding a coach. Don't know how hard they are looking. And so if you know of anyone who might be interested send them our way. It's so frustrating to watch. Just when you think you have something going, the coach moves on. This is the fourth coach in the time I have been at EA.

Would like to get some info out there on which city wrestling jobs are open. Thanks for the heads up, if you hear anything else please let me know.

Any other coaching vacancies in the city? Aside from Beechcroft and International. I think Marion Franklin might still be open as well.

For anyone interested, it is an uphill battle if you are not in the building. However, if you get paired with an AD that is supportive, it is doable, and the stipend is higher than most schools in central Ohio if you can get the kids.

Not on this subject but St Charles has like 9 guys who have never wrestled before. Looking to get some matches with other beginners at the start of the season. Let Steve Montgomery [email protected]. If interested in setting something up.

How many of you are using FinalForms? It sounds great, but parents being engaged and active is critical........and we all know how that goes in the city! :RpS_angry:

Briggs is I think, we are not. Sounds great in theory, but it is just another unnecessary hurdle for us.

Final Forms will be great once everything is setup right. The issue is having the parent get the info and signing there kid up.

EXACTLY.....getting parents to be involved! It's a great program used in many suburban districts, but if a parent doesn't go online and register and complete the forms, then a kid can't wrestle?!! So now, all my wrestlers who played football (normally nothing to do but urinalysis consent) have to get their parents to register and complete forms all over again! smh :RpS_w00t:

Just received word from Eastmoor's AD. There will be no coach. Had one lined up, all he needed to do was to go to HR, but failed to show as of last Friday. From the description of the gentleman, and if it is who I thought it was, he would have been good.

Was a good experience for Independence! My 285 & 160 have some experience, but the rest are 3 weeks into their wrestling careers!! :RpS_w00t:

As expected, we took a lot of butt-whoopins!! The bright spot, though, was several kids got their first win and Chad Douglas took 3rd at 285! : thumbup:

caught me by surprise too, but from what I understood it was a numbers/lack of participation issue. That was not confirmed but me piecing info together.

Thanks! Seeing the teams we saw will serve us well in the end. Watching my freshman 106 (wrestling up while he cuts 3 more lbs.) wrestle Mead from OL was entertaining; he told me he was gonna double leg him and set the half!! :RpS_w00t::RpS_lol:
