I never said he wasn't an average QB. I've always argued he's in the top 10-18 range or so. He's not why they are losing this year though. And he's still better than Joe Flacco. It's everyone else that puts him like bottom, bottom tier in the NFL.

Take Eifert away for 7 games and Green away for what looks like will be 6, kind of fair to see why Dalton's TD passes are down. Every other number is good enough for top 15 or so in the league, and even in Cincy's shittiest season.

...and people can't really say "well, they are gonna only win 3 or 4 games." He never got any credit when they won 10-12 games.

Stats and the last 4 years say otherwise. Flacco is truly a bottom 10 starter in the NFL.

This year, Dalton is outperforming Flacco in every category.

I don't care about stats. Flacco plays well in the playoffs, Dalton doesn't. They are both very average QB's in the regular season. I'll take Flacco.
