So I was not aware of this but my wife was offered a new job today. On top of a huge pay raise , they also offer 100% payment of insurance premium. So all we pay is deductible and/or copay. So essentially another raise on top of the salary.

Anyone familiar or have this currently?

I have covered my employees health care premiums 100% since 1987. It has always been a benefit that they particularly appreciate. I have very little turnover in my staff.

To be frank, Obamacare has stressed that arrangement..... but an employer tax credit has kept it on the table. If they remove/rescind that it will become unaffordable.

My parents work for Honda, and they have that. The insurance all together is very kick ass.

Last company I worked for had 2 health care options. A high deductible plan with copays after deductible that the company paid 100% of the premiums.

We had a second option a "gold plated" plan that we had zero deductible and only had copays. The company paid like 90% of that and we only paid about $100/month.

The company sucked to work for, which is why I am not there anymore, but they had the best health insurance of any place I have worked.
