Cueto returns for the opening game.
I don't know the last time the Giants lost in GABP but holding out hopes they can take 2 of 3 facing Samardjzayzjzyjza and also Jake Peavy.
If our bullpen teetered on average I could tolerate this team.
Hamilton looking better at the plate. Duvall and Suarez look like they could use a day off.
I like what I've seen in a short time from Ramirez. Wood was good today. I could tolerate Ohlendorf in maybe the 6th inning but the rest I just simply expect to be dumpster fires when they come in. Cotham has my trust about as much as Ohlendorf

Official scorers need to get wise to Votto's matador defense and give him errors on balls that he has plenty of time to get in front of!

Of course there is plenty of blame for Finnegan who walked the first batter of the inning and HBP the 2nd one.

That is at least the 3rd ball this season that Billy jumped too early on to try to catch.

Pretty deep shot by Joey.

Apparently all it took was Joey threatening to retire in order for this team to hit.

Barnhart started the 6 run 3rd with a solid hit, but failed to get the 7th run that he could have had without even getting a hit, an 8th one with a hit. He went for broke on the hittable 1 strike pitch, then fished for the outside pitch with 2 strikes.

Death, taxes and the Reds pen allowing at least a run.
