There's nobody I want shipped out faster than BP, and of course, he breaks a bone in his hand. Whether he plays through it or not, just knowing it, lessens his trade value (not that he has much).

Disagree with trading Duvall and even Cozart

Cozart is 30. Unless he's as good as he has showed this year (the rest of his career says otherwise), would you really consider paying him when he's a FA? He's arb eligible and likely will see a big salary increase. Andrelton Simmons is a comparable player (Cozart a better hitter, Simmons a better fielder) and he's going to be making 13, 15 and 15M in the next 3 years. No thanks.

I don't necessarily advocate keeping Votto, but I'd be shocked if anyone is interested in a 1B having a down year who still has EIGHT YEARS at 25M left on his contract.

Have to trade Duvall now? No. However, see Todd Frazier. A late blooming guy who won't hit FA until he's near 30 years old and if he keeps it up, will be expecting to get paid. So, one of two things happens. One, Duvall is legit, prices himself well out of the Reds price range and he's traded in 2-3 years before he can hit FA, rather deal him when he has 3 full years of team control left. Two, Duvall's 2016 is a fluke and he regresses, the Reds miss the window to deal him and you have a potential asset that loses a ton of value. The Reds aren't going to truly contend for at least 2-3 more years, so unless you see enough in Adam Duvall to project him as a starter in 2018 and beyond, why not deal him?

If anything, Bruce is the safest and least likely I would trade. He's never going to be insane where his value is super high, but he's also an original Red who has been pretty consistent. He's only 29 and could conceivably deliver 5-6 more years as a back-end of the heart of a lineup for a decent team.

Votto and Phillips are terrible terrible leaders.

Votto just stood flat footed as Barnhart badly missed a ball and Barnhart stood up and then took 7 steps hustling towards ball before Votto even broke a step to help his teammate out.

Deep fly to RF either a HR or catch by Stanton and Votto is standing in the middle of 2nd and 3rd....made a terrible toss to Reed.

It's tough to find positives, but a few of note. Anthony DeSclafani, Raisel Iglesias, Tony Cingrani (since taking over as closer) and Michael Lorenzen have all been solid. Something to build on. Dan Straily has come back to earth, as predicted. Offensively, there really aren't any complaints given how bad the team is.

Definitely not liking how it's looking for Brandon Finnegan, Cody Reed and John Lamb. The first two had big expectations and aren't really delivering. Finnegan, I said it all along, needs another pitch and needs to improve on his control, otherwise, he should b a closer, not a starter. The Reds are dead set on starting him, for whatever reason.

Excited to Stephenson, Winker and Peraza in the second half. It will be nice to get some clarity on what the roster will look like next year, hopefully not including Phillips and Cozart.

How are you going to get to see Peraza? Phillips gotta play every day

Might take until August, but hopefully Phillips is dealt. If not, well, I don't know what to say.

Reed def has a big upside with his stuff and I expect him to rebound and still excited for his future. Phillips stock has def dwindled...has 10 or more errors already, so hopefully someone would still want him and I bet he agrees to a trade now if it is to someone decent.
