What did you expect? 2nd worst team last year and much worse this year. If not for the Braves being historically bad...and at least they flat out admit they are tanking.

I expect Iglesias to start most of the season without injury.

I expect Votto to be a top 10 offensive player.

I expect Phillips to not get throw out at 3rd or home once per series trying to push it.

I expect Meso to give us a glimpse of the middle of the order hitter he showed last year.

I expect the vast majority of the 162 games this year (130 or so) to be highly competitive games with opportunities to win.

I only expect 70-75 wins but won't be surprised if it's 65-69 wins.

I don't understand price. In fact, I just continue to hate him more. Best closer in baseball was on this team, and he refused to let him go more than 3 outs. But now that they first had a shit closer and now they are doing it by committee, he let's guys try to get 5 outs...

This season isn't about winning. It's about preparing your young players. Yet today you try to let fucking Ohlendorf get 5 outs. They can't get rid of price fast enough.

Good and determined win today. Glad to see Schebler's bat doing something.

Reds win after losing the lead 3 times(3-1, 4-3, 5-4) to win 6-5. Some colossally bad base-running by the Reds!

Announcers just yelled at Schebler when Tucker screwed up as well. On contact Tucker drifted towards home a bit instead of instantly going back to potentially tag (but likely bluff at least drawing a throw)

Tucker also messed up when he was out on a 7-5 force-out on which he should have made it easily if he watches the ball and realizes much earlier that the bloop was going to fall in by a large margin.

Got too tall and caused him to slip when planting to head to 3rd....same inning Phillips predictably got thrown out at home.

...and unfortunately for Price, he's a lame duck manager who is bound to get fired. He knows it. Makes it frustrating because I've said it since the off-season, we're going to suck, might as well go down getting the core players who are ready to get experience.

Mesoraco on the DL with a torn labrum, having surgery. Probably out for the season.

Luckily on his non throwing shoulder. Said depending on the severity he could be back...but there is no reason to rush back this year.

There's no reason to ever have him back.

Well, I'd give another shot or two on him finding his 2014 season where in 114 games he had 25 HR and 25 doubles with an OPS+ of 147

When he comes back he should have to A) play another position and B) earn his starting spot.

Yeah, the last season he was healthy he put up very good numbers so I am not sure why people want to dump him.

He was their top pick a number of years ago andthey wont give up on him easily. Learning a new position? Likely could be the case but they will likely give him every chance to prove himself. They wont release him, and trade value will be next to nill so I don't see a problem with keeping him.

As long as we can see progress this season I can accept it. Teams like Mil we have to beat often. The top teams...just hope to see better results and be more competitive later in the season.

57 games vs Cubs/Pirates/Cards

Tall task.

Problem is, it's the ONLY season he was healthy. Typically you don't become less injury prone as you age.
