I think we did this last year....make your prediction how the Tribe will finish and why.....

I'm pretty bullish on the team this year. While the team didn't make any big splashes free agency wise, they've upgraded the team in all aspects.

The starting pitching was not disturbed,...everyone returns and with another year of experience under their belt, the young starters should be even better.

Bullpens are bullpens...but it looks like the team has improved the personnel.

The infield will be a lot better this year now that Lindor is up full time, Kipnis and Gomes are healthy, and veteran players have been added on the corners. Santana should be better now that he doesn't have to learn a new defensive position, Napoli adds some punch at DH/1B.

The dead wood has been cleared from the outfield (Swisher and Bourn). Rajai Davis is a positive addition to add to Brantley (when healthy) and Chisenhall is an upgrade in RF (if healthy.)

Really the only thing that concerns me is the health of the outfield and how that will play early in the season.

For a prediction I'm going with a division Title and possible WS appearance. ...90-72 regular season.

Yeah, I know...this is Cleveland we are talking about, so I expect to take some shit in the fall

Vegas seems to be around 85ish for the over under. I'm at work can't find the real number. I'll go 86 wins and a wildcard spot.

84-78. Fighting for a WC berth. Whether they make it or not I don't know. But 84 should put them in contention.

Hits, that is very bullish especially when the defending world champs are in the same division and have the Tribe's number. This team needs to avoid their traditional slow start to the season.

You gotta figure having Lindor in the lineup all year will be a boost and Kluber won't have a 9-16 record. I see Kluber having a strong bounce back year. I will go with 89 wins and a wild card spot.

This is almost 100% what I was going to post, except I was going to say 88 wins. I have a good feeling this year.

I'll go with 86 and a wild card.

I'll go out on a limb. I'm bullish on this team, too.

Division Title- 95 wins. The pitching is there...I like the additions of Napoli and then a healthy Gomes and a entire season of Lindor will be huge.

.500 and sellers at the deadline injuries will end the season early

.....and the Tribe finishes the spring going 7-0-1 it's final 8 games.

A rough April (once again) but a quicker bounce back will lead to a 86-76 record and wildcard.

I'm feeling really good about the potential balance to this team. I expect us to contend the division title and finish with 87-91 wins.

I'd like to revise my prediction. 0-162. Start the fire sale.

Time to take a look at the predictions made last spring .....
TBone and I "went out on a limb" and predicted division titles. I predicted 90 wins, which The Tribe hit last nite. TBone predicted 95 wins! ... Which is still in play if only the Tribe plays .500 the rest of the way out.

What a great year.
Most certainly, the team has exceeded our expectations.. Even without Brantley and the latest injuries to the starting rotation.

We can start making our post season predictions now.... However, I'm going to wait a while as I think having the # 1 or 2 seed is critical for this team... It plays soooo much better at home.

I had them in the hunt for a WC spot. They (will) have exceeded my expectations by over 10 games I think.
