I have seen a lot of stories recently of people legally protecting themselves with a gun. One a family was taken hostage by some escapee. Feel good story, the wife was allowed out of the bathroom and came back and killed him. Glad he won't be wasting away in prison.

I think more people needs to get back to basics for the new frontier we will be facing. To learn to protect themself, love ones and others. Teach, learn and be proficant with a weapon because what was once the wilds of the frontier has turned to the lawlessness of society, random violence and criminal factor. The utopia to think that your safe and police protection is available and justic can be serviced 24/7 is unrealistic. We as a society needs to get back to the knowledge of weapon, the responsibility of weapons and the understanding of using a weapon.

we teach driver education, sex education, education on smoking, drinking, diet..but the idea to teach, instruct and inform young individual about something they will grow up to have a Right to Own is rejected. ....
