I am not sure who has noticed, but the 138 weight class at the Claymont sectional and district was ridiculous. Bullard, who was a state placer a year ago, just completed one of the toughest runs to the state tourney I can remember. He had to beat returning SQ Bunting (#9 by Boro) in the cons semis at sectionals just to make it districts. At districts, he had to beat Shaw (#2) from Carrolton in the cons quarters, Paters (#15) from Claymont in the consi semis, and then took out Woods (#3) in the finals for third! This is an historic run by a young man trying to finish up a great career and who was ranked the 7th best in his district! WOW!!!!!!!!
