Super Bowl Sunday the official day everyone becomes a football fan and expert.
what your plans for this SuperBowl Sunday?
We are skipping the traditional bring a cover dish and party invites this year.
that motif does not proved a true football fan the enjoyment of watching the game in a uninterrupted environment.
We invited 5 couples that we know who enjoys football, no kids, common interest in other things and women who enjoys shopping. We will be having a SuperBowl dinner before the game some appetizer and cake at half time beer, wine, pop, coffee or tea optional.

My daughters first birthday party is from 2p-4p. I'm not happy with the timing, but the GFs is throwing her mom a party the night before and family will be flying in so I didn't have a choice.
We're getting roosters wings, making 2 crock pots of pulled pork, green bean casserole, cheesy potatoes, smash cake for the baby, cookies for the other kids, spinach & artichoke dip, and buffalo chicken dip. I'll be picking up some liquor. Now that I'm thinking about it, we probably need some ice cream.

I will be hosting a party at my house for a few friends. I will be getting my grill/smoker on Saturday and I'm planning on smoking some wings and ribs and who know what else will be made/brought over. We will also be playing some cornhole and ladder golf before the game.

Living in NC now for 4 years, my wife and kids have converted to Panthers fans and I can not blame them. I have given up trying to keep them rooting for the Browns and feeling my pain. With that, we have had parties at our house for both playoff games and will so the same for the Superbowl. Inviting about 4-5 neighbor famlies over. Same menu for all the games - ordering pizza and wings and then everyone bringing a appetizer and/or dessert.
One good side note- I got a new Samsung 60" SUHD TV for the living room to watch the playoff games. I was going to get it in March for my birthday but had a good reason to get it early.

Sit at home and maybe watch the game. Maybe not. Don't really GAF b/c I have no horse in the race. Want to see Peyton win, though.

Watching with my hubby, trying to think of some good-for-you snacks to make. I'm not sure why we need any, but it just seems like the right thing to do.

Meh, probably not much. Probably just watch with the wife on the couch. She likes pigs in a blanket so maybe I'll make those. I've been craving some Pico from Chipotle so maybe I'll make some from scratch? I also have some leftover Revolution Fistmas in the fridge, it doesn't really go well with chips and salsa but beer is beer.

Thinking of smoking a pork shoulder Saturday and then maybe smoking some wings on Sunday. If we have people over. Otherwise probably just smoke the chicken wings.

Probably getting super drunj on Saturday night, so Sunday won't consist of much more than watching on couch, lots of water, food.

Usually we go to a friends and do a pot luck style thing, but I don't think that's happening this year.
I've never gone out to bars here for the SB, so I think we're trying to reserve a table somewhere. I'm expecting overpriced nonsense, but fun.

Nah, only one of the two. But some of his other friends will be over, so I pretend they're my friends, too!QuakerOats;1779727 wrote:Both of them?
