THE republican party is in a huge change right now and Trump is that change. Its a party that is less about politics and more about the common person. I dont see how anyone would want to vote for a career politician regardless of the letter beside their name.

My one friend, diehard Trump supporter...he's now an expert on military tactics based on Trump statements. It's absurd. Only 2 months ago I had to point out on a map the location of Syria. :laugh:

So trump asked Kasich to handle all domestic and foreign policy relationships as trumps VP and Kasich turned it down lol

So basically Trump just wants the title as president but wants everyone to come on his staff and do all of the actual work for him.

Good on Kasich for turning that down.

yea how did that work for Obama? At least Trump has executive experience and leadership capabilities. Who cares if its outside the DC beltway. Obama had no experience in anything and the people he put around him were picked by others (Geitner, Weiner etc....) the rest were like Holder, worthless idealog that played racial politics from the Fed.

Does that surprise you? Have you heard any specific policies coming from him other than The Wall? He doesn't know what he's doing. He says anything and everything and Republicans love him for it.

To me, that's over-simplifying things a bit. A lot of Rs don't particularly like him. I mean, a number of key party members (such as Ohio's own governor) are skipping the RNC and, on this site (which runs pretty far right in the grand scheme of things) there are a lot of conservative voices who are either against him or offering the most begrudging of support (ala: lesser of two evils). Trump seems to mainly get his support from pure party-line voters who only look at the letter next to the name, as well as the "THEY TOOK OUR JORBBBBBBBBBBSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!" crowd, who are up there with the "Obama gonna get me a new phone" crowd as far as stupidity goes.
