Who you have so far?

Big boy Andy Reid is a candidate after their woeful 1-5 start. Bruce Arians is doing it again. Ron Rivera is undefeated. Belichick always gets a mention regardless of record. Mike Zimmer has done a nice job.

My vote would go to Ron Rivera a sit just has to. My runner up would be to Todd Bowles love his coaching/sideline demeanor.

Discussion should begin and end with Rivera.

Pretty much all of the awards could, and maybe should, start and end with Carolina.

Not arguing but Rivera and Bowles are going to lead their teams to about 6 more wins than I expected.

Guess I have trouble giving Rivera as much credit as I should because he wasn't previously great.

Carolina is about to win 6 more games than you thought as well, I assume. Plus undefeated. It's over.

I said Carolina.

Rivera is the unanimous winner.

Who else has done very well this season?

Not often a 1-5 team reels off 8 straight and may very well win their final 10 games.

He's been a very good coach for a very long time....can't get over the top but a lot of franchises would be a lot better than they are if they had him.

He shouldn't win COY for being good for a long time. If that was the case, Marvin Lewis would be ahead of him in this year's voting. Marvin isn't even close to COY.

I'd go Rivera or Arians...pretty big fall off after that unless you're voting the usual suspects (Belicheck, Lewis, McCarthy, etc...)

No one thinks he should win

I wouldn't have Lewis about Reid

It's not a joke. Any other coach would've struggled to win a single game with the amount of injuries the Browns have had this year.

Why not? The Chiefs were 11-5 in 2013 and 9-7 in 2014. So he's most likely going to go 11-5 in 2015. Is he a COY candidate because they happened to play a brutal schedule early and stunk? Admittedly, playing Denver, Green Bay, Cincinnati and Minnesota, all teams who will win 11+ games themselves, isn't an easy start. Since then, if they go 11-5, they will have gotten 8 of those final 10 wins against teams with under .500 records.

Haha did buike just suggest a coach, then when someone makes a small argument for that coach, argue against him? Haha

Ironman mentioned Andy Reid, not me, and I suggested that if he's in consideration, then he should mention every other coach who has had a good team for the last few years as well. That includes McCarthy, Tomlin, Carroll, Lewis, Belicheck, etc. Andy Reid has done nothing more than those guys, he just happened to have all his tough games early in the season.

Not "very well" with a record of 5-9 but if Gus Bradley somehow gets the Jacksonville Jags into the playoffs, he at least deserves a gold star to hang on the refrigerator.

Great that they are still alive...even better that I didn't know who the coach of the Jags was

I thought Bowles would've been a good HC for the Browns a few years ago when they had a shot at him.
