I want to buy my son a set of headphones. He has a tv (not a smart one) an iPhone and a speaker. He is getting a game system, but I'm not sure which one yet. Are there headphones he can use for all of that stuff? I know nothing about this and I tried to ask the guy at Verizon last night and he may has well been speaking Chinese. Googling it hasn't been much better. I'll go to Best Buy, but I'd like to have some idea what I want knowing how busy they will be. And what better place to ask for expert advice??

No wires. Under $200.

Earbud or over the ear? Will he use it for gaming? In line mic/controls?
Cnet is pretty reliable for reviews.
I prefer earbuds, so if I was in the market I'd go with the Jaybird X2's in this link. My friend has the first model mentioned in the review (Bluebuds X) and he's had nothing but good things to say.

Assuming the TV doesn't have Bluetooth, does it have an audio out port?power i;1770230 wrote:I want to buy my son a set of headphones. He has a tv (not a smart one) an iPhone and a speaker. Ok, I have no clue. I guess it's a Best Buy gift card. But thanks for trying to help!
