Running backs have a shelf life of ~5 years. Running back are productive from day 1. Running backs are the last piece of the puzzle that a team adds. No need for a running back for a 1-15 team, use what you have until you are ready at every other position.

I like Garrett at 1, but beyond that I'd have to see what's available

I'm not a big believer in RBs this early in drafts..but we do need some explosiveness in our offense and cook can catch out of the backfield (a must have in today's NFL). I'd be okay with those two picks.
Although I think that Cook is the best RB in the draft, I do not want him with the #12 pick. I'd like the Browns to try to get Malik Hooker and if he's going to be gone, I'd trade up to get him. If that isn't possible, I like Wilson from Florida.

I do not want anything to do with Jabril Peppers.

I agree with the #1 overall pick though.

A RB can change your offense if you have a really good one. Especially if you don't have an elite QB. We don't have an elite QB and because we'll be taking a QB in the 2nd-3rd round (again), we'll continue to have a shaky offense. A RB can at least help the offense.

But you're right COA, we should draft another lineman. That'll really help our problems. We'll be 6-10, but damnit PFT will grade our O and D line in the top half of the league!! Winner!!

Browns going to sign Collins is surprising (albeit they overpaid to get him to stay). Not they can franchise Pryor if they want.

Then why in the fuck wouldn't you draft a defensive player numbnuts? Our defense was bottom of the league, but you want to waste a 1st on a fucking RB when we got 2 good ones already? LMAO

I agree with everything you said. Cook's good, but not for the Browns at 12. I'm completely on board with going up to get Hooker if need be.

Lol yeah, Crowell and Duke Johnson. RBs that strike fear in defensive coordinators! Lol

Crow is probably one of the most underrated rb's in the league. I'm definitely cool rolling with crow. We need defenseive talent and o line help. And qb. All could easily be filled this offseason with the draft and FA

Crow was a serviceable RB this year. The year before that, he was awful. Lets see if he can have 2 good seasons before we anoint him one of the most underrated RB's in the league haha

Hot take news flash: 2017 does not matter either. 3-13 at best. 2-3 years away from securing the RB of the future.

This I disagree with. Depending on the draft and FA signings I think we are going to be a lot better than people think. I could see a 6-7 win season

I'll split the difference and say 4-5 wins depending on health.

Need to see who our QB is going to be before predicting win totals.

Oh I agree 100%. The biggest difference we will see is the defense. The front 7 has the potential to be very very good

Aaron Rodgers....how many wins if he was your QB next year?

Andrew Luck?

Carson Wentz?

11 wins with Rodgers.
9 wins with Luck.

Not sure on Wentz. Second year is a big year for qbs. He's either going to be very good next year or regress.

Yeah, I'm pumped to add garrett to that D line with Shelton.

So you believe next year Browns minus a QB will be better than this year's Packers and Colts without considering QB?

I think the Browns would win 11 games with Aaron Rodgers at QB. And 9 games with Luck as QB.

Is Aaron playing on the defense now too? They sucked something awful. Rodgers alone isn't worth 10 more wins.

Also, Packers defense was awful all year.
