I heard something that Zeek turned down a trip to NY because he knew Henry was going to win it anyway and he'd rather spend time working on his game to put up 400+ yards against Jaylon Smith.

Have you seen the towel boys at OSU? Smith wouldn't be able to crack that lineup! They're the best.

I don't get people saying no bowl game counts except for the playoffs. Did that mean no bowl game mattered besides the BCS title game in the BCS era? How about in the voting era? Bowl games still count and are still meaningful, especially when two traditional premier programs are playing each other for only the 6th time in history. I hope the Buckeyes players take it seriously and don't write the game off because it's not the playoffs or because they are going pro. Win your last game and leave a legacy. For the seniors 49-4 with a National title and major bowl victory is pretty impressive.
That is correct, just glorified exhibition games! Kind of like NIT basketball games, except they are better with a multi game tourney toward a very minor title. Survive and advance is the most compelling. Round of 8 and round of 4 are the absolute best in the NFL. To me better than the championship game.

I'm sure him and Lennay are living a dream.

Also, Teo was critical in giving up a cool 265 yards rushing in the championship game against Bama.

The point is he's an overrated LB who absolutely will do dog shit in the NFL and in relevant games because he plays for a media hyped school that never wins anything. The reality is, based on talent alone, he would ride the bench at a real school because he lacks the talent to compete at a high level.

Smith? Smith will be exposed much like Manti is once they play a team with a top tier offense. When's the last time an ND player did anything relevant in the NFL? ND is a factory of overrated talent.

This year. Eifert is the top TE in football. When's the last time you were right about anything?

I would take Gronk with one arm over Eifert. Congrats on the ND success story of "Well the best TE is injured, so now I'm the best!"

Jan 1st can come soon enough. Another opportunity to put ND blowhards where they belong; the MAC conference.

Devin Butler (who blew some serious coverage in the Stanford game) is out with a broken foot. And Max Redfield was sent home for a violation of team rules. So Notre Dame's secondary, which was already a pretty glaring weak spot, just got even weaker.
