What is this quackery? Some of my idiot Facebook friends have posted about it and I ignored them because they are idiots. But now one of my wife's friends has her all interested in it because it's natural. Like poison ivy and snake venom.

LOL my wife and I had a pretty heated argument over this same shit (Duterra, i think). I let her buy the shit (she used her money) but i said she couldn't put any of that shit on the kids because they have weirdly sensitive skin and breakout in rashes over some of the smallest things and i could only imagine what this horseshit would do. To be honest she shut up about this crap about 4 months ago, so I don't even think she's using it anymore.

My wife is on this coconut oil kick right now. She has also been obsessed with Tea Tree Oil for the last several years and fucking uses it on everything. I can't stand the smell of any of that shit.

Coconut oil isn't the problem. It's the stay at home mom who joins these MLM schemes and pretends they are "starting their business".
A lot of the trash from my high school, all women in this case, have gotten into "itWorks". It's a complete joke. I actually saw one of them at the bar and was casually catching up with them and they told me about their company. After completely shredding the business model and getting nowhere, I gave her advice on how to maximize her earnings. She didn't like that it involved selling zero product and just getting other lemmings to sign up and sell under her. These people don't like the phrase "pyramid scheme" but that's exactly what they are.

Seemed like every chick was selling it and I was just the dude sitting back and wondering how anyone could make a profit when everyone was trying to get a piece of the pie.
