Arguably they ruined this place, didn't know if you want to keep on keeping on with them or something else.

I don't want to come in and immediately shake things up. But I agree they've negatively affected the site with the personal attacks and insults on every thread.

Though on on the other hand they are probably the most active poster so it's quite the double edged sword. I'd love to hear your guys opinions on them, as well as Tiernan

Tiernan's a piece of shit who ruins threads simply by being on them. So is Isadore.

Other people can be pieces of shit who ruin threads because they have a stick up their ass about being the biggest bad-asses on them, but those two seem to solely exist to be giant fucktards. I mean to the level where CC, KnightRyder, etc. come off as normal people and Footwedge is only a little stupid.

Yeah Tiernan is a giant fucktard. I agree with you guys on that. Thoughts on what we do with him? Keep doing what we're doing now? Ban him? Relegate him to the basement?

next time one of them trolls, if you guys want to hit em with a final "warning" to quit the act, then if they keep it up, feel free to basement ban them.

I say we ban them all to one thread. They can interact with each other, and everyone else can read the thread, but we all get to be spectators, and they can't use any other thread.

Yeah, as I recall, when this site started, the only real reason we brought over HS forums was to try to steal as much of JJ's disenchanted members as possible. In the early days, when it started out big (bigger than Justin was expecting, at least), we talked on here about ways to possibly advertise the site at HS events and doing stuff like weekly scoreboards, but none of that ever got off the "bullshitting about it on the mod forums and maybe starting the occasional 'suggestions for site growth' SB topic" stages.

As far as culling the HS stuff, I dunno. On one hand, there are a few people who come here to talk HS sports. Those Wayne County ones for FB and a lot of Columbus-area wrestling people. On the other, there is the Skank-class sort of poster who, frankly, is a thin-skinned moron. I see his point about Bundy being a troll and, ordinarily, would concede that. However, he's always come off as the Internet version of a restaurant customer who acts like the help is socially beneath them and then flies off the rails the minute he doesn't feel he's being "properly" catered to. As he showed pretty quickly over the weekend, I see, lol.

Yappi has the market cornered on HSFB, nothing will change that either. Basically we either let it be for the Wayne County guys because it's not hurting anything, or just kill the forum to clean things up. That's all HR74's choice. Somehow HS wrestling seems to do just fine here though.

Agreed. Yappi and SEOPS won't lose the high school football market. We had a small chance to make ground in that during the first year, but we failed. That ship has sailed and there's no getting that back.

FYI iggy finally pissed me off enough today to basement ban his ass (assuming I did it right).

Draft had him in full retard in Browns, OSU, you name it. I don't even give a shit about OSU and it pissed me off.
