JT is your starter no matter how well Cardale plays. The team responds to him much better and he understand the offense way way better. Hope that Cardale plays well, but he is still #2 on the depth chart. Only reason he'd start against Illinois is further punishment for JT, however, JT is the starter for all the big games and will play a lot next week regardless of whether he starts or not.

Cardale might as well have driven down the freeway throwing bags of cash out the window last season when he announced he was coming back to school.
