I don't hunt, pick off a few groundhogs but that about it for me.
On another Threat information was give about a new rifle. Henry Big Steel Boy looks to be a nice weapon for bigger game.
If you're a hunter please tell us what you hunt, type of weapon, load and whatever information.

Rabbits, pheasants, dove, grouse, and anything else when I am trudging through the brush. I use a remington wingmaster 12 gauge with a 28" vent rib pump shotgun. Probably my favorite gun I have ever owned. Squirrel I usually use a number of .22s that I have or a .410. Which ever one I grab first is what I use. I also use a .32 muzzle loader on occasions. Deer, I use my wingmaster with a deer barrel on it. Although this year I may use my 30-30. Ground hog, coyote, and fox I use a multiple of guns. Usually use my .556, but I have used a .222, 7mm, .308, .223, and even a shotgun. I used to bow hunt a lot but with this job and school I just dont have time at this moment to put the proper time into it.

When I lived on the farm I started hunting deer/rabbit/pheasant with a 20 guage over & under. I graduated to 12 guage pump. Hunted squirrels/woodchucks (groundhogs) with a .22.
My nephew bought all of the land once my father died so I'm thinking about purchasing again and going out deer hunting. Freezer could used some different meat.

My brothers and I own 105 acres in Knox County....Deer hunt with bow and shotgun. Remington 870 express...reliable gun I have owned for about 10 years. Rabbit, pheasant and squirrel if I have time...but haven't hunted those for several years. Other than picking off a few black squirrels in my backyard with my son's pellet gun!

Deer almost exclusively for me. In Texas I use a Thompson Center Icon 30-06 Springfield. I shoot 168 grain Winchester Ballistic Silvertip ammo. When I'm in ohio, i hunt my grandparent's and my in-laws farms. I use my bow in OH, Hoyt Ultratec, i shoot Carbon Express Maxima Red arrows and am not brand loyal on broadheads. I like 3-blade fixed broadheads, but have recently started using mechanicals. Last year i killed a doe with a Rage Hypodermic and it was a phenomenal blood trail. This year i have a Shwacker, the practice head i've been using has done incredible damage to the block, so i feel like when it meets flesh, it'll be a quick kill.
I have been on a list to draw for a buffalo hunt in Montana for the last several years. If that day ever comes, I have an Armalite 338 Lapua Magnum as this one is anywhere from 3-8 bucks per round to shoot, i have only fired it about 5 times and got it sighted in at 800 yards.
I have started to do a little bird hunting in the past few years. I use a Winchester Model 1300 that i've had since i was 12 for all of that and use whatever ammo is appropriate for the bird i'm after.

I have a friend who does a lot of hunting. Dude got a moose in Canada pretty recently -- grilled us moose burgers last Saturday while we all watched football. That's the definition of a kick-ass meal.

This past week there has been a good working man who has died and just this afternoon a dad of one of my kindergarten students broke vertebrae and could be paralyzed from the waste down (today is his birthday)...both fell from their tree stands.
Please wear a harness for those of you that use tree stands.

90% sure token is Said. Only person on here who a) is lame enough to have multiple usernames that he posts under and b) thinks someone dying is funny (see pilot dying in a horrific accident thread)

What's even sadder is, isn't Said about my age (40's)? If you're that old and you are using multiple usernames, that's about as pathetic as it gets.SportsAndLady;1760507 wrote:90% sure token is Said. While said may not approve of hunters or wing walkers on stunt planes, he does not laugh at the people who died, only their actions which led them to their death.
Apparently some OC members try to act holier than thou, publicly while really being nothing more than a POS.
