Mason Sutander, Ben Conahan, Tristan Burton, and Tyler David are all very solid from Delaware Dempsey...

The entire Groveport Madison team. It's over, folks. Our dominance is just over the horizon. Thanks for playing though.

ps: this is great info for future ITC episodes! Be sure to list a school and HS affiliation with a name. 'Preeciate it.

2-3 studs over at Olentangy Orange Middle School, especially 7th grader Mitchell Broskie.

Here's a few that I have seen over the years. I'm sure that i'm leaving some out, please add to the list.

My top Eight Central Ohio Jr. High Wrestlers

1. Manzona Bryant - 8[SUP]th[/SUP] Grade-Wrestles for Bishop Hartley club team- Not sure what High School he will attend. Multiple state champ at every level, Manzona is on a completely different level than any other jr. high wrestler in central Ohio. Special kid who has a special future.

2. Andrew Donahue- 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Grade-Future Olentangy Liberty- Andrew was a state champ last year. Moved to Ohio from Carolina and has placed high at the OAC state every year since moving to Ohio. Andrew’s size, strength, and mat awareness make him a hard matchup.

3. Haydn Daniels- 7[SUP]th[/SUP]/8[SUP]th[/SUP] Grade- River Valley- Haydn is a multiple time grade school OAC state champ that still plays three sports and is able to have success in all of them. Haydn might be repeating in school this year, not sure. Haydn manages to hit camps and open mats in the summer and fall even though he plays baseball/football.

4. Luke Geog- 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Grade – Upper Arlington- Fearless relentless wrestler who never stops on the mat. Luke has all the tools and technique to be a very good high school wrestler. Luke trains practically year round and is fun to watch. If you aren’t ready to wrestle, it will be over quickly when wrestling Luke.

5. Blake Saito- 8[SUP]th [/SUP]Grade- Hilliard Darby Blake is very similar to Geog, Relentless and a big time technician. Blake has placed every year at OAC in his grade school days and also placed at Jr. High State last year. Blake is a very smart wrestle and is capable of countering any move.

6. Elijah Pack- 7[SUP]th[/SUP] GradeWakins Memorial- Eli is a very good wrestler who has placed several times at the OAC state. Eli has been wrestling at a high level for a while and is capable of beating anyone in the state at his weight. Eli is very fast and explosive.

7. Daniel Segura- 8[SUP]th[/SUP] Grade- Dublin Scioto- Daniel is a strong wrestler who has placed several times at OAC . He was a district champ last year and should have a very good 8[SUP]th[/SUP] grade season. Daniel has great size and strength.

8. Mitchell Broskie- 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Grade- Olentangy Orange- Mitchell is a very solid wrestler who like Daniels still plays three sports. Mitchell has placed just about every year at OAC and was 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] last year. He has a lot of funk to his game and is a very solid top/bottom wrestler.

Honarable Mention:
Mason Sutandar- Delaware
Joey Petrella- Bishop Hartley
Mason Faux- Mt. Gilead
Ethan Szanati- Buckeye Valley
Michael Petrella- Bishop Hartley
Christopher Schaefer- Dublin Scioto
Jayce Fitzpatrick- Olentangy Liberty
Gavin Ramos- Northmoor
Jesse Bowers- Upper Arlington

Not sure if Connor Becker from Northmoor is in 8[SUP]th[/SUP] grade, if so he would definitely be ranked very high. He is top notch, and is one of the few wrestlers to go the distance with Manzona.

Good work, 112.

Is Bryant expected to go to Hartley for High School?

And, BTdubs, love hearing about the kids doing multiple sports. Hopefully they continue. Or at least stick with 2. 3 can be very, very tough once you hit HS.

What about Little Agin form Lancaster? And Miller too. Just wondering.

And yes - heck of a job with the write-up! Loved it!

You are correct, I can't leave the little Agin off...Heck I have been following him and his brother Logan since they were in Circleville. The blonde bomber from Lancaster : thumbup:

I was impressed with Pickerington's Brennan Cernus last year as a sixth grader.

Look at Dublin Davis as a dominate force. Another 3 or 4 studs to join Segura and Schaefer. Solid 170 built out of stone

Watch for Hastings Middle School. Team was state duals qualifier last year. Lightweights including 92- McClure, 98 or 104- bowers, 104 or 110 Pearson and 122- Mchugh. All competed at either OAC states, or USA OHIO Freestyle/Greco states. These wrestlers will have a great season and will be tough to beat them. Best of luck to the other teams and may another fantastic wrestling season begin!
