Basically no room for any error now. If Cleveland goes 11-0 over their final games, Houston would have to go 6-3 to be tied with them (and the other three teams in front of the Indians would have to be even better). Any losses whatsoever essentially get it down to Houston just needing to tread water (and any of the others just needing any sort of win streak) to stay ahead of at least you guys.

Tribe has caught a break, catching the Royals the day after their clinch....basically playing the Royals AAA affiliate Omaha tonite...5-0 in the 8th ....Cookie has a one hitter.

Baltimore pummeled by the BoSox 7-0.....Tribe will schooch ahead of the Birds with a win tonight.

The Angels may end up being the team to catch. They are only half a game out.
That's what makes this so tough. We need 3 teams to lose and there is only 1 team we can do anything about and we just lost 2 of 3 to them.

Minnie and the Stro's have won...so the Tribe will not pick up any ground. Baltimore has lost for the second straight nite, and have fallen a game and a half behind the Tribe.....

Tribe offense disappears again and drops a 3-0 decision to the Royals. Tribe loses a game in the race to everybody. The end is near. Twins come in tomorrow.
