I just flipped on the TCU-Boise State pregame show on FOX ... where the camera blacked out during the coin flip, and despite an "electric atmosphere" (according to announcer Sam Rosen), the microphones make it sound like its a library documentary. Why does FOX get to cover college football?

Fox is terrible.
Can't wait till ESPN/ABC take the games back, they actually know what the fuck they're doing

Thankfully the two biggest BCS games I want to watch are on ABC with Musberger and Herbie.

I classify 3rd and manageable as anything 3rd and 6 or less....3rd and 6 is a whole hell of a lot better than 3rd and double sticks

The unfortunate thing, is no matter where the television rights go, Jimmy Johnson will probably still be given a job...now that is a travesty. He offers about as much insightful commentary as a shoe.
(as far as ABC goes, I think Musberger is great. He's the voice of college football for this generation, much as Keith Jackson was 15 years ago. When you hear Musberger's voice, you just know there's a big game on.)

This is not just a problem with Fox and BCS games. It's a problem with FOX in general. Anyone ever watched American Idol? I would rather watch one-eyed Sister Angelica over on the Catholic channel read a bible verse and pass out in the middle of it than watch another BCS game on FOX ever again. Terrible.

Fox fucking socks. I almost don't even wanna watch the BCS games because I can't stand the way they do the games.
