The family and friends coming over on Monday so I'm fixing a few things. Because I have a ton of tomatoes I figure nice bowl of gazpacho and some bruschetta along with the traditional brats, bake beans and sheet cake andwhat ever others are bring.
the sink start to fill up, turn on the disposal water goes down, turn off disposal water comes back up.
Sink is clogged... Tried every thing plugger it several times, really did want to put a drain cleaner in it but I did.... Nothing still clogged.
It is Sunday afternoon, called our Plummer ... Tuesday at best...
so last night around 9:00 I'm under the sink disconnecting the pipes and feeding a 25 foot snake ...fixed it... One hour and 30 minutes. I'm sore, stiff and neck is killing me.. But it is fixed, I saved a few bucks not using the Plummer and the party will be able to use the sink...
Ever notice that things like sink get clogged, sewer backs up, power goes out or some stupid thing happens when you're having a party or during the holiday get together?
note: two things I hate to fix .. Plumbing and electrical

Only opened the thread because I thought it would be a story of old man incontinence.

Belly - maybe you should try taking better care of your sink and garbage disposal?

But I DO know that if I have to get under the sink to do some work, it's an automatic stiff neck/sore back the next day.

Good new this won't happen again for another 10 years...Automatik;1749015 wrote:Belly - maybe you should try taking better care of your sink and garbage disposal?

Hopefully the OC is still around and your dementia isn't so bad you forget to post about it.Belly35;1749037 wrote:the sink and disposal not the problem.... Onion, skin, pepper seeds and tomatoes ... I've been making soap for many years. You can get it at Ace Hardware.Belly35;1749127 wrote:wow! Lye haven't seen that in years... Grandma would make lye soap, greatest stuff in the world for cleaning almost anything... Pigs fat ( lard and lye) makes lye soap.

If chicks smelled like bacon or tacos they'd get laid more often.
