Wake the hell up
Sometime between 4:30 and 5:00 the two dogs wake me up… not the wife just me.
We head down stairs, throw the kitchen where I start the Keurig for my first cup, to the family room back door and let the dogs out for their morning piss (sometimes I join them, refreshing I have to say). Back into the house to the mud room get their food and feed the dogs. Pick up my coffee three options, 1. to the patio w/ Ipad 2. to the family room w/Ipad or 3. to the back breakfast room. w/Ipad. Those are the area where I come up with my many outstanding threads.
Once the wife wakes up I have my second cup of coffee and our morning conversation.
Two cups per day ….
WHAT IS YOUR COFFEE ROUTINE MOFO?

A good cup of aeropress coffee at home and then a cup or two of shitty drip coffee at work if I need it.

Drink a thermos of coffee around 5 am so I'm not tired when I get home from work and don't fall right to sleep.

I used to be a 3-4 cup a day person, but I've cut back a lot.
Depends on the time of year. I rarely drink hot coffee when it's hot. Right now a large iced coffee 3-4 times a week. Sometimes a cold brew if I feel like being cracked out or go for a shitty K-cup at work if I feel like slumming it. French press at home.

Always coffee. Lots of cream. Lots of sugar. Occasionally an evening cup as well especially in the winter.

Usually 2 cups in the morning before work( 50-50 mix of Starbucks esspresso and Decaf Cafe Verona), and another mid morning. After noon I switch to decaf....maybe 1 or 2 cups....just a touch of creamer or milk. Iced coffee if it's hot outside.
As Belly said, nothing wrong with coffee and it's high in anti-oxidants....just got to be careful with the caffiene. So much better than soda.... Anybody drinking that 3 or 4 times a day, I feel sorry for you.

I'm 1-2 cups before my 8 am meeting every week day. I'm caffeine free on the weekends (which includes me not having a soda in like 3 weeks, and those who know me know i'm a big fat slob who loves to do the Dew).
has anyone every had cold brew coffee? i ask because they say its not as bitter which i think would be nice.
2nd question, anyone have a good k-cup (2.0 compatible) they like? All we have at the office is rio blend which tastes like burnt dick.

A cup of coffee when I wake up around 6:30. Let out the biggest of our dogs (sleeps separately from the rest), feed him, and give him his medication. Sometimes, I'll check messages. But like Belly, I will also take a leak outside with the dogs.

I haven't seen any really good 2.0 K cups yet, so I haven't even bought the machine. I like bold roasts, and the selection isn't really greast for those in 2.0.j_crazy;1746641 wrote:I'm 1-2 cups before my 8 am meeting every week day. I live on caffeine. WAY too much of it. 2-3 cups of coffee in the morning. Usually another 300-500 mg of caffeine throughout the day in teh form of: Diet Dew, Pepsi Max, zero calorie energy drinks, more coffee, iced tea, etc.HitsRus;1746639 wrote:just got to be careful with the caffiene. Usually wake up around 7 or so to let the dog out. Come back inside and lay in bed with the wife and dog for another hour or so. Wake up, and make k-cups for the wife and myself...sugar and whatever type of flavored creamer she bought that week in both. I'll drink it when I fire up the laptop in my office to start work. Then I'll usually have another one around 3pm.

How old of coffee do you drink? Would you make a pot of coffee later one afternoon, only drink half and then finish it the following morning?
I use a closed top pot coffee maker, which I believe helps keep the coffee fresh and warmer longer.
