Starts tomorrow from Whistling Straits

For those doing Fanduel/Draftkings, what are your lineups looking like? I'll be doing mine this afternoon.

For their price and how well I think they'll do I'm going to have Zach Johnson, Matsuyama, and Koepka on my team. Haven't figured out the other 3 yet though. Thinking about taking Stenson, Reed, and Jimmy Walker.

I'm pretty intrigued by this one. I'm not sure one of the big names is gonna win. Maybe a up and comer like last time, with Kaymer.

should be a really fun tournament to watch. I'm sure i'd be a piss poor gambler on this (as i am in most things) but i'd take speith for sure. He didn't seem to be phase by the moment in any of his other wins and his style is pretty much perfect for these links style courses.

I'm going with Jason Day to get his first.

Lineup will be
Day
Rose
Koepka
Kisner

And either Matsuyama/Grillo or Finau/J Thomas

Speith gives you no chance to miss on the other 5 though...he costs way too much.

I'm probably gonna throw a punt in there with David Toms. Have 2 free tickets to this, so I'm making a more balanced team and one with two double digit guys.

Yeah basically. I mean I'm sure it will be used to talk about the actually tournament once it starts and I don't think anyone is going to disagree with you about Speith winning.

Just for the FanDuel/Draftkings contests, You have $50,000 to pick 6 golfers and you get points based on how they do in the PGA Championship. Speith costs the most at $12,500. It costs $20 to enter and first prize pays out $1 Million.

I'll probably chip off another 20 for another lineup before tee off but my first lineup is:

Rory
Bubba
Koepka
Casey
Streb
Lahiri

Sounds like a million to me.

This is just out of curiosity so don't interpret this as an attack...have you ever done daily (or in golf's case, tournament) fantasy before?

I know from your later post that you made a team but did you ever try daily fantasy before this thread?

I hadn't considered daily fantasy golf until it was talked about on the British Open thread so that's why I ask.

one other thing i remember about the football one i did was it wasn't like a pool of people. it was me and another guy going heads up against each other and i think it was just my money versus his.

zach johnson is not looking like a great pick so far. hopefully teeing off early today will set him up nicely for the weekend.

he gave one back and is now below the cut line. I have 3 guys in danger of missing the cut and spieth is not playing like a world beater. Looks like i'm not getting the million boys.

unless the cut lines moves 2 strokes, Zach johnson missed the cut. Laird probably will too. so having only 4 guys going to the weekend leads me to believe that i'm pretty well screwed. Is this the case?

Johnson doesn't hit it far enough to make any inroads on this course. Going 3/5 wood into the par 5s (where you win here) is not ideal.

Day/Rose/Finau looking good for me. Kisner was a disappointment.

I've got 2 teams I'm hoping can make some money, but not likely with 2 missing cut on one team:

Day/Dusty/Finau/Koepka/J. Thomas/Perez (Perez only one to miss)

Day/Rose/Finau/Watson/Bowditch/Toms (Bowditch and Toms out, need all 4 others to finish top 10 with someone winning).

This is about as good of a leaderboard as you could ask for. Even at 4 back it's hard to count Kaymer out after what he did today and in 2010. Still backing Day to finally finish one off.
