Eliminate Food Stamps and replace involuntary unemployment with an employer of last resort.

and what wage is the government going to pay as employer of last resort. Because if it is the minimum wage these folks will still not be getting enough to pay for the necessities of life: to house, cloth and feed themselves and theirs.
