I had the pleasure of coaching this young man in Jr Hi football, Jr Hi basketball and being the AD for Piketon on his run through high school! He is truly a hero. Thank goodness I had a chance to hug him and tell him how proud I and the whole community was of him for being a strong man who cared about everyone around him before he passed! I had just found a link on the NBC story and was going to start a thread when I saw this one!

Sounds like a young man I wish I'd had the pleasure of meeting. Condolences to his family and young wife.

Prayers to this young mans family. This really hits close to home as I lost a nephew in Feb and a childhood friend last week to this terrible disease.

Hit terrible hard around here. I had him on my Twitter. He was do damn brave and upbeat. Had just turned 21. Ruined my day when I saw it on FB that morning.
